Quick Pitch Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 17, 2026

Welcome to Quick Pitch (“Quick Pitch,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Quick Pitch is a product and service operated by Tangram Tech.

Quick Pitch is a live audience engagement and structured feedback platform that allows users to participate in startup pitch competitions, classrooms, innovation challenges, business presentations, networking events, and related experiences.

By accessing or using Quick Pitch, creating an account, joining an event, submitting feedback, or otherwise interacting with the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Quick Pitch.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Quick Pitch independently. If you are under 18, you may only use Quick Pitch with authorization and supervision from a parent, guardian, school, university, or authorized organization.

By using Quick Pitch, you represent and warrant that:

  • you are legally able to enter into these Terms;
  • the information you provide is accurate;
  • you will comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Plain English

You must be legally allowed to use the platform and provide accurate information. If you are under 18, you need appropriate supervision or authorization.

2. User Roles

Quick Pitch supports multiple user roles, including Organizers, Participants/Presenters, Judges, and Audience Members. Different permissions, analytics access, visibility settings, and features may apply depending on role.

Certain users, including Judges, may receive elevated visibility or event access without requiring payment.

Quick Pitch may modify user roles, permissions, pricing, or features at any time.

Plain English

Different people use Quick Pitch in different ways. Organizers, judges, presenters, and audience members may see or access different parts of the platform.

3. Accounts

Certain features require account registration. You agree to provide accurate and current information, maintain the confidentiality of your credentials, and accept responsibility for activity under your account.

You may not:

  • impersonate another individual or organization;
  • create fraudulent accounts;
  • access systems without authorization;
  • interfere with platform functionality;
  • improperly share credentials;
  • attempt to manipulate ratings, analytics, or leaderboard systems.

Quick Pitch may suspend or terminate accounts at any time and for any reason.

Plain English

Keep your account secure and use the platform honestly. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to the platform or other users.

4. Event Access

Events may be accessed through QR codes, invitation links, access codes, or public event pages. Event organizers are responsible for managing attendance and participation settings.

Quick Pitch is not responsible for unauthorized attendance, organizer conduct, participant conduct, judge conduct, event cancellations, or disputes between users.

Plain English

Organizers run their own events. We provide the technology platform but are not responsible for what happens at individual events.

5. Payments, Billing, and Subscriptions

Certain features may require payment, including subscriptions, downloadable reports, enhanced analytics, premium profiles, or event-based purchases.

Payments are processed through third-party providers, including Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to provide accurate payment information and pay all applicable fees and taxes.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled. Unless otherwise required by law, fees are generally non-refundable.

Quick Pitch may modify pricing or subscription structures at any time.

Plain English

Some features cost money. Payments are handled securely through Stripe, and subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled.

6. User Content

Users may submit ratings, comments, feedback, resources, support offers, mentorship offers, links, profile information, presentation materials, and event content.

You retain ownership of your content. However, by submitting content to Quick Pitch, you grant Quick Pitch a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, process, analyze, distribute, improve, and use the content as necessary to operate and improve the platform.

This license continues for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, maintain backups, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect security and integrity.

Plain English

You still own your content, but you give us permission to use it to operate and improve Quick Pitch.

7. Public Disclosure and Idea Sharing

Users understand that startup ideas, presentations, comments, ratings, and other submitted content may be visible to organizers, judges, participants, presenters, audience members, and administrators.

Users are solely responsible for deciding what information they disclose publicly. Quick Pitch is not responsible for unauthorized use of ideas, confidentiality disputes, intellectual property disputes, or competitive use of disclosed information.

Users should avoid sharing confidential or proprietary information unless comfortable doing so.

Plain English

If you share ideas publicly during an event, other people may see or discuss them. Be thoughtful about what you choose to disclose.

8. Ratings, Reviews, Feedback, and Leaderboards

Quick Pitch enables users to submit subjective evaluations and participate in public or semi-public scoring systems.

Ratings, comments, rankings, resources, support offers, judge evaluations, leaderboards, and related feedback:

  • reflect subjective user opinions;
  • are not verified by Quick Pitch;
  • may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, offensive, or misleading;
  • do not represent endorsements, guarantees, certifications, or verified evaluations.

Quick Pitch does not guarantee fairness of ratings, leaderboard outcomes, visibility, discoverability, funding opportunities, educational outcomes, mentorship opportunities, or employment opportunities.

Quick Pitch may modify scoring systems, algorithms, ranking systems, recommendation systems, and visibility settings at any time and in its sole discretion.

Judge scores, organizer actions, and audience evaluations may be weighted differently depending on event configuration.

Plain English

Feedback and rankings are opinions — not official evaluations or guarantees. Scores and visibility may vary by event and may change over time.

9. No Professional, Investment, Educational, or Legal Advice

Quick Pitch is a technology platform for engagement and feedback. Content available through Quick Pitch, including ratings, comments, resources, support offers, judge evaluations, AI-generated insights, and user interactions, does not constitute investment advice, legal advice, educational advice, professional consulting services, hiring recommendations, or verified factual information.

Users are solely responsible for evaluating any information or opportunities arising from use of the platform.

Plain English

Nothing on Quick Pitch should be treated as professional advice or guaranteed information.

10. Support Offers and Networking

Quick Pitch may enable users to offer introductions, mentorship, resources, partnerships, services, or investment interest. Quick Pitch does not verify users or guarantee any opportunity, relationship, funding, mentorship, partnership, or business outcome.

Users interact with one another at their own risk. Quick Pitch is not responsible for off-platform conduct, fraud, failed business relationships, investment decisions, employment decisions, or user disputes.

Plain English

We help people connect, but we cannot guarantee what happens after users interact with one another.

11. Organizer Responsibilities

Event organizers operate independently from Quick Pitch. Quick Pitch does not organize, sponsor, supervise, endorse, or control third-party events unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Organizers are solely responsible for:

  • event administration;
  • moderation;
  • participant communications;
  • judge invitations and permissions;
  • compliance with applicable laws;
  • obtaining permissions and consents;
  • event-related decisions and outcomes.

Quick Pitch may remove or suspend events that create risk to users or the platform.

Plain English

Organizers are responsible for how their events are run. We may remove events that violate our rules or create risk.

12. Community Rules

Users may not:

  • harass or intimidate others;
  • submit hateful, discriminatory, or defamatory content;
  • manipulate rankings or ratings;
  • impersonate others;
  • distribute spam or malicious links;
  • scrape platform data;
  • interfere with platform operations;
  • violate intellectual property rights;
  • engage in unlawful activity.

Quick Pitch reserves the right to take actions reasonably necessary to protect:

  • platform integrity;
  • user safety;
  • event operations;
  • analytics systems;
  • ranking systems;
  • community trust.

This may include limiting access, restricting functionality, removing content, or suspending users.

Quick Pitch may remove, restrict, suspend, modify, or refuse content or accounts at any time and for any reason, including content that may create legal, reputational, operational, or security risk.

Quick Pitch is not obligated to preserve or display any content.

Plain English

Be respectful and use the platform responsibly. We may remove harmful content or suspend users to protect the community and platform integrity.

13. Intellectual Property

Quick Pitch and its related software, branding, trademarks, logos, systems, analytics, designs, interfaces, and related technology are owned by Quick Pitch, Tangram Tech, or their licensors.

Users may not copy, reverse engineer, distribute, resell, exploit, or modify the platform except as permitted by law or authorized by Quick Pitch.

Plain English

The Quick Pitch platform and brand belong to us. Please do not copy or misuse them.

14. Third-Party Services

Quick Pitch may rely on or integrate with third-party services, including payment processors, analytics providers, authentication systems, communication tools, hosting infrastructure, and embedded content providers.

Quick Pitch is not responsible for the availability, security, functionality, or practices of third-party services.

Use of third-party services may also be governed by separate third-party terms and privacy policies.

Plain English

Some parts of Quick Pitch depend on outside services like Stripe or analytics providers, which have their own systems and policies.

and provide:

  • identification of the copyrighted work;
  • identification of the allegedly infringing material;
  • your contact information;

Quick Pitch may remove allegedly infringing content at its discretion.

Plain English

If you believe someone posted content that infringes your copyright, contact us and we will review it.

16. Beta Features

Quick Pitch may release beta, experimental, or early-access features that may contain errors, interruptions, incomplete functionality, or changing behavior.

Quick Pitch may modify or discontinue beta features at any time without liability.

Plain English

Some new features may still be experimental and may not always work perfectly.

17. AI and Automated Features

Quick Pitch may provide AI-assisted or automated features, including summaries, recommendations, analytics, insights, and content analysis.

AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, may be incomplete, and may not reflect human judgment. AI-generated content should not be relied upon as professional advice.

Users remain solely responsible for decisions made using AI-generated outputs.

Plain English

AI tools can be helpful, but they are not perfect and should not replace human judgment.

18. Service Changes

Quick Pitch is an evolving platform. Features, functionality, analytics, integrations, interfaces, workflows, pricing, and platform capabilities may change over time.

Quick Pitch may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the platform at any time without liability.

Plain English

Quick Pitch will continue evolving, and some features or workflows may change as the platform grows.

19. Electronic Communications

By creating an account or using Quick Pitch, you consent to receive electronic communications from Quick Pitch, including operational notices, event-related notifications, platform updates, transactional communications, and legal notices.

You agree that electronic communications satisfy legal communication requirements.

Plain English

We may send important updates and notices electronically instead of through paper mail.

20. Privacy

Your use of Quick Pitch is also governed by the Quick Pitch Privacy Policy.

Plain English

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information.

21. Platform Availability

Quick Pitch does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. The platform may experience outages, interruptions, maintenance, delays, data loss, or errors.

Quick Pitch may modify or discontinue features at any time.

Plain English

Like any online platform, Quick Pitch may occasionally experience downtime or technical issues.

22. Disclaimer of Warranties

Quick Pitch is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quick Pitch disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, reliability, accuracy, or availability.

Quick Pitch does not guarantee platform performance, feedback quality, user conduct, judge conduct, networking outcomes, educational outcomes, or investment outcomes.

Plain English

We cannot promise the platform will always work perfectly or guarantee outcomes from using it.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quick Pitch, Tangram Tech, and their affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners will not be liable for indirect damages, reputational harm, lost profits, lost opportunities, data loss, business interruption, inaccurate ratings, leaderboard placement, event disputes, or reliance on user feedback.

Quick Pitch’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of:

  • $100 USD; or
  • the amount paid by the user to Quick Pitch during the previous 12 months.

Some jurisdictions may not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply.

Plain English

Our legal responsibility is limited, especially for indirect or unpredictable issues arising from platform use.

24. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quick Pitch, Tangram Tech, and their affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your content, your event activities, your violations of these Terms, or your interactions with other users.

Plain English

If your actions create legal problems for Quick Pitch, you may be responsible for related costs or damages.

25. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of Quick Pitch will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, except where prohibited by law.

Users waive the right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative claims.

Either party may seek injunctive relief related to intellectual property misuse, unauthorized access, or security violations.

Plain English

Most disputes will be handled through individual arbitration rather than lawsuits or class actions.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Plain English

New York law governs these Terms.
